Now that Mike and I are empty nesters we have decided to downsize and leave the house
in the country for a condo in the city! We are very excited to start this new
phase of our lives together. Effective June 1, 2011 Peach State Sheltie Rescue,
Inc. will no longer take shelties in for adoption. We will continue to maintain
our GA license and our Incorporation status to support those dogs we have placed in the past.
Mike and I feel so fortunate to have been a part of helping so many shelties, for the friends we have made and for
the time we have served. All of you have blessed us in so many ways. We will still be “around” and available to transport or help out in extreme situations.
Over the years many of you have unselfishly
supported us financially and we want you to know how much we appreciate your support.
We would ask that you continue your support for shelties in need by sending your generous donations to The American
Shetland Sheepdog Association National Rescue c/o Dorothy Christiansen, ASSA National Rescue Coordinator, at P. O. Box 819
New Lenox, IL 60451.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for allowing
us to be a part of this journey and for riding along with us.

Donations are needed to provide medical care for the shelties in our program.
We do not turn down shelties that need help regardless of their age, condition, or medical needs.

Volunteers are always needed. We have needs for
transporters, foster homes, groomers, and fund raising opportunities as well. If you are interested in volunteering with us,
please contact the director at jflowers42000@yahoo.com.
